Heya!, My name is Margot!

WEDDING, SENIORs, AND LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHER

I'm a New England based photographer with ten years in the wedding industry as a photographer. My first job at thirteen was actually selling wedding dresses on a boutique on main street, so it's funny how life circles back around to that same wonderful-world.

Why photography?

I spent 15 years in the non-profit world, shooting part-time before life, and a passion that just wouldn't quit brought me into photography full-time. Every day feels like winning the lottery when you get to do what you love and I hope that translates into your photo experience. Traveling all over the world doing non-profit work, you learn that being able to communicate someone else's story is so vital to growing and connecting as humans. I even went back to school under the major of "Digital Storytelling" because at the end of the day- if your photos don't tell a story- then I've failed as your photographer. Photos should feel like You and give even strangers a feel for who your are.

What's My Shooting Style?

Now my marketing friends might grind their teeth a bit but I don't feel like I've pigeonholed myself into one specific "style" per-se. I'm comfortable in a range of editing styles from true-to-tone to darker and moody vibes. I love to take a cinematic approach no matter the color tones so that your photos feel like a scene out of your favorite indie film. Either way, at the end of the day, I'd love to chat about what you want Your photos to feel like and work together to knock it out of the park.
